360 Of The Week: How Centuries-Old Books Are Being Restored and Digitised

Over 6,000 books published between 1858-1950 by Lucknow's iconic Naval Kishore press are being restored and digitized by Rekhta Foundation. Over 200 books have been digitized so far. Naval Kishore press is widely known for printing 'Dastan-e-Amir Hamza’ which is considered a masterpiece of Urdu literature across the world. Produced in collaboration with ICFJ-Google Fellow Royden D'Souza.
