India sees lowest Covid cases in 52 days; Mehul Choksi may have forged papers to travel to Dominica; more

India on Monday registered 1.52 lakh new Covid cases -- the lowest in 52 days -- in the past 24 hours, pushing the country's infection caseload to 2.80 crore. So far, 2,56,92,342 people who had earlier tested positive for Covid-19 have recovered from the disease. 

Fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi fled Antigua and landed up in Dominica only to be arrested later. As Choksi faces deportation to India, India Today TV explores if he managed to forge identities to travel to Dominica.
