Delhi High Court has junked a petition that sought stay on the Central Vista project and said it is an essential project and of national importance. The HC has also fined the petitioners Rs 1 lakh and said the petition is not bona fide. The court has said since the construction workers are residing on-site, there is no question of staying the Central Vista construction work.
