A day ahead of VHP's 84-Kosi Parikrama Yatra the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has upheld the ban on the yatra. This as a plea filed by lawyer PP Pandey has been dismissed.

Remember, VHP's defiant stand to carry out a yatra near Ayodhya, despite the state govt banning it, kick-started a political storm. With both sides refusing to blink , the stage is set for a recurrence of faith based politics in Uttar Pradesh.
