Amid second wave of pandemic, Delhi faces acute shortage of Amphotericin B

After coronavirus, cases of black fungus have increased across the country, and Delhi is especially facing an acute shortage of Amphotericin B, a drug which is used to treat Mucormycosis.
Cases are currently going up in states like Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. People in these states are constantly looking for leads to procure the drug for their patients but are ending up getting false leads.
According to the nationwide report of May 22, India confirmed  8,848 cases and more than 200 deaths of Mucormycosis.
