Congress president Sonia Gandhi has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate action on the supply of essential medicines to treat Mucormycosis. She has demanded to increase the supply of drugs like Liposomal Amphotericin-B, which is an essential drug to treat infection. She has also said that the infection should be treated under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana for free of cost.
