Brad Stevens Practice Interview | Celtics vs Nets

Brad Stevens was interviewed after the Celtics held team practice on Saturday afternoon. Boston is fresh off a huge home win against Brooklyn, and the team prepares to even the series 2-2 on Sunday night. One of the biggest storylines going into these home games for Boston is the lifting of restrictions and TD Garden getting to near-full attendance. When asked on the importance of home court advantage, Stevens didn't hesitate. "There's a reason why people play for home court all year...it's great to play in front of fans anywhere..." said Stevens, and he stressed how big of a moment this was for players who didn't get to experience TD Garden with fans during the playoffs.
Robert Williams left at half time during Game 3, and from the last update given, Stevens reported that Williams was in an air boot following the win. Coach offered a brief update on the young center as well as Kemba Walker, who has been hampered by a bone bruise. "Kemba was sore today, I think that he'll go through some stuff in the morning tomorrow and [we'll] have a better idea on him. Rob is doubtful. He probably won't do anything in the morning, we'll see how he feels as we get closer to game time. But you saw him last night, even in his stint I thought he looked pretty limited. So, we're hopeful to have everyone available, but at least in Rob's case I'd say that's probably doubtful."
