As the Covid-19 pandemic reaches deeper into rural India, villages of Rajasthan struggle to control rising cases due to weak healthcare infrastructure. While the Rajasthan government claims to have reached out to rural areas with medical care, villagers tell a different tale.

India Today’s team reached Khara village in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district, not too far from Bikaner city, and found that healthcare workers are overburdened and medicines are in short supply.
