Andhra Pradesh: 11 patients die in Tirupati hospital due to disruption in oxygen supply

At least 11 patients undergoing treatment died after the oxygen supply was hampered at Sri Venkateswara Ramnarayan Ruia government hospital of Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati on Monday.

About 30 doctors were immediately rushed into the ICU to attend to the patients.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has inquired about the incident at Tirupati Ruia Hospital and sought a report. He has also directed the officers to take immediate action.

Jagan directed the officials to ensure that such incidents did not recur.
