Tirupati has been battered by incessant rains causing floods in the temple town. Hundreds of pilgrims were left stranded as heavy rainfall disrupted normal life. This comes under the influence of a depression in Bay of Bengal. Many parts of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh have also been battered by heavy rains.
