Evan Fournier Received COVID Vaccine

Evan Fournier was interviewed after the Celtics’ practice on May 1. He was asked about recovering from COVID, his return to Orlando, and facing off against former teammate Nikola Vucevic.
Fournier has been dealing with the after-effects of COVID lately and has spoken openly about his struggles. He was asked about how he has been feeling lately. “Feeling good, thank you,” said Fournier. “Actually I had my first vaccine yesterday… Pfizer… apparently there was a lot of people reporting that after they got the vaccine they started to feel better, so we’ll see.”
The Celtics will travel to Orlando tomorrow to take on his former team in the Magic. He was asked about how he’s feeling about that. “I don't know… I obviously want to be locked in and focused,” he stated. “You know after playing 7 years with one team… you’re going to have some memories… hopefully that won’t distract me.”
After that game, the Celtics will take on Fournier’s former teammate Nikola Vucevic when they face off against the Bulls. He talked about matching up against his old teammate, and their contrasting styles on the court. “Vooch and I are really close,” said Fournier. “He’s going to try to trick me for sure.”
