Nikola Vucevic was interviewed by Bulls media members today after being traded from the Orlando Magic at the trade deadline. Vucevic was asked about his time in Orlando and what it meant to him.
When asked, Vucevic gets very emotional when talking about his time with the Orlando Magic. He talked about how the people he met and the friends he made impacted him as a person. "The hardest part was the people," said Vucevic.
"Over nine years you're going to meet a lot of great people. That was the hardest for me... It meant a lot to me."
The center was only 21 years old when he began his career in Orlando. He spent one year in Philadelphia the year prior, but other than his rookie season he had spent his entire career with the Magic. "I came there as a kid, I left as a man," said Vucevic. He was on the verge of tears when talking about the Magic and the community in Orlando.
