Maharashtra likely to face lockdown; migrant exodus amid Covid-19 surge; more

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Tuesday said the state cabinet has requested Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to announce a strict lockdown in Maharashtra from tomorrow at 8 pm. Even state Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray while talking to India Today said the only way to break the Covid-19 infection chain is to impose a lockdown. In the other story, thousands of migrant workers in different states gathered at the respective inter-state bus terminals and railway stations to return home amid the surge in Covid-19 cases and lockdown in some states.
