Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat reversed his predecessor's decision and decided to remove the management of 51 temples from the control of the Char Dham Devasthanam Board and reconsider its formation. "I have decided to take out of the Devasthanam Board's ambit 51 temples which had been brought under it," Tirath Singh Rawat told reporters after a meeting with seers amid the ongoing Kumbh Mela here.

सीएम तीरथ सिंह रावत ने शुक्रवार को हरिद्वार कुंभ क्षेत्र में पुलिस सर्विलांस सिस्टम के कमांड एंड कंट्रोल रूम का शुभारंभ किया। साथ ही पुलिसकर्मियों के लिए बनाए गए आदर्श बैरक का भी उद्घाटन गया। इस मौके पर मेला नियंत्रण भवन के सभागार में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बोलते हुए तीरथ सिंह रावत बोले पुलिस सर्विलांस सिस्टम के कमाण्ड कण्ट्रोल सेण्टर को अल्प समय में ही जो आधुनिक रूप दिया है, वो सराहनीय है.
