Evan Fournier After CLUTCH Game-Winning Shot Against Suns
  • 3 years ago
After hitting the go-ahead bucket with 6.4 seconds remaining to give the Orlando Magic 112-111 win against the Phoenix Suns, Evan Fournier sat down with media postgame in what could be his last interview as a member of the Magic. With rumors flying about his involvement in an Aaron Gordon trade and the trade deadline set for 3PM tomorrow, Fournier was asked to reflect on his time with Orlando. When asked about what the franchise meant to him, the veteran guard said "I could answer that question for a very long time...I left the apartment where I lived with my parents when I was 13. Since then, I've never stayed in one place for more than two years. Y'know, the fact that I've been here for seven years, I had a son here, I got married, it means more than a lot. It's kinda hard to put words into it."
