Tips to Manage Remote Teams

Not only a trend for modern companies, but a mandatory measure, remote working is now part of our daily lives.
For many managers, this is all new so here are some tips to set your teams up for success from home.
Have a daily check-in. Your team needs to see you so set up daily video conference when possible or at least daily calls or emails, the important is to keep in touch.
The hardest part of working from home is the feeling of isolation so communicate as much as you can to make your team feel integrated and still part of the company.
Be flexible and understanding as work schedule is probably out while working from home so allow your team to work at a time they’ll be the most productive.
Define clear tasks to everyone and means to achieve them with deadlines to make sure that everyone knows exactly what to do and when.
Use every communication tool that you can. They’re booming now so there are no excuse to keep in touch with your team or organize meeting with everybody.
Make sure your team is well equipped. You cannot expect them to do a proper work without the proper equipment!
