Fast tag has become mandatory for payment on National Highway Tolls in the country from today, 15 February at 12 pm. Those who have not yet applied it on their vehicles or whose tags are not working on them, will have to pay double toll tax. However, the two wheeler has been kept out of it. FASTAG fitted vehicles will not need to stop at the toll plaza.

देश में आज यानी 15 फरवरी रात 12 बजे से नेशनल हाइवे टोल्स पर भुगतान के लिए फास्ट टैग अनिवार्य हो गया है. जिन लोगों ने अब तक अपनी गाड़ियों पर इसे नहीं लगाया है या जिनकी गाड़ियों पर लगे टैग काम नहीं कर रहे, उनको दोगुना टोल टैक्स देना होगा. हालांकि टू व्हीलर को इससे बाहर रखा गया है. फास्टैग लगे वाहनों को टोल प्लाजा पर रुकने की जरूरत नहीं होगी.
