Despite all this in Delhi, the government and its ministers did not personally condemn the incident. However, a central minister's statement came in this matter from the government. On that matter, Prakash Javadekar said that talks have not been closed.

26 जनवरी को किसानों का आंदोलन पूरी तरह से हिंसक हो गया. आंदोलनकारियों ने दिल्ली की सड़कों पर जिस तरह से उपद्रव किया और किसानों के एक समूह ने लाल किले के अंदर घुसकर सिखों के धार्मिक झंडे निशान साहब को फहराया. दिल्ली में इतना सब होने के बावजूद सरकार और उसके मंत्रियों ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से घटना की निंदा नहीं की. हालांकि सरकार की ओर से इस मामले में एक केंद्रीय मंत्री का बयान आया. वो भी बात वार्ता को लेकर प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने कहा कि बातचीत के रास्ते बंद नहीं हुए है.
