The prolific batsman is often hailed as a top draw in every competition that he features in. The meteoric rise of his Pakistan counterpart Babar Azam has often drawn comparisons between the two cricketers. Azam's teammate and Virat Kohli's old nemesis Mohammad Amir recently revealed how it feels to bowl to players of such quality pedigree.

विराट कोहली दुनिया के नम्बर वन बल्लेबाज हैं. तीनों ही फोर्मेट में विराट कोहली की बल्लेबाजी लाजवाब है. इसलिए, कोहली को मोडर्न डे क्रिकेट किंग कहा जाता है. जाहिर है कि अगर कोई दूसरा बल्लेबाज बढ़िया खेलेगा. तो उसकी तुलना बेस्ट बल्लेबाज से ही की जाएगी. बाबर आजम एक ऐसा नाम है. जिनकी तुलना लगातार कोहली से की जाती है. क्योंकि तीनों ही फोर्मेट में पाकिस्तान के इस बल्लेबाज ने बढ़िया बल्लेबाजी की है. वनडे और टी20 में बाबर आजम का एवरेज 50 से ऊपर है. जबकि टेस्ट में 45 का है. जोकि खराब नहीं है. बहरहाल, पाकिस्‍तान के तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्‍मद आमिर ने भी कोहली-बाबर की तुलना में अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है और कहा कि भारतीय कप्‍तान के बजाय पाकिस्‍तानी बल्‍लेबाज को गेंदबाजी करना उनके लिए ज्‍यादा चुनौतीपूर्ण होगा. आमिर ने कहा कि बाबर का बल्‍लेबाजी स्‍टांस अलग है और इसी के चलते उन्‍हें गेंदबाजी करना मुश्किल है.
