Stephen Silas New Rockets Coach INTERVIEW

Bob Ryan and Jeff Goodman interview Stephen Silas, the new Houston Rockets head coach. Silas came up last week when Bob Ryan revealed that he played Nerf basketball with an infant Silas while visiting his father, former Celtics forward Paul Silas. Stephen spoke about leaving the Mavericks to join James Harden and Russell Westbrook amid uncertainty about the future of the team. He said the three point heavy style that Mike D'Antoni and Daryl Morey ran is likely here to stay and that he has the blessing of the team's stars. He faces a tough turnover given trade rumors, no center on the roster and a rapidly strengthening western conference, not to mention no draft picks until 2022.
