Stephen Silas was interviewed before the Rockets game vs the Hornets. He talked about Victor Oladipo specifically, who would be sitting for “personal reasons.” In the past few weeks rumors have been heating up that Oladipo will be moved before tomorrow’s trade deadline. Silas talked a lot about the trade deadline. He commented on what the atmosphere is like before and after the deadline. “I try to kind of stick to the controllables,” said Silas, saying that he tries not to get caught up in things he can’t personally control. Oladipo has been visibly unhappy with his place on the team, and wants to play for a contender. Teams that have been rumored to be involved in the sweepstakes for the veteran guard include the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors. The Rockets recently snapped a 20-game losing streak, and have been rumored to be hosting a “fire sale” at the upcoming deadline. The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday, March 25th at 3:00 PM EST.
