EU projects better outlook for 2020, but downgrades 2021 outlook for EU, eurozone

The EU has revised its economic outlook in its Autumn 2020 Economic Forecast,... projecting the eurozone's economy will contract 7-point-8 percent in 2020,... before growing 4-point-2 percent in 2021,... and then three-percent in 2022.
It also forecasts the EU economy to slump 7-point-4 percent this year,... before recovering with growth of 4-point-1 percent in 2021 and three-percent in 2022.
Compared to its earlier forecast,... the projections for both the euro area and the EU are slightly higher for 2020,... and lower for 2021.
The report also indicated the euro area and the EU are not expected to recover to pre-pandemic levels until 2022.
