The Punjab National Bank scam involving billions of dollars was heard in the Supreme Court on Monday, after the hearing, the Supreme Court asked the central government to file a status report about fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya within 6 weeks. The Supreme Court has directed to submit a detailed report from the Center in this regard. The court will hear further in the first week of January.

पंजाब नेशनल बैंक के अरबों डॉलर के घोटाले में सोमवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई, सुनवाई के बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार से भगोड़े कारोबारी विजय माल्या के बारे में 6 सप्ताह के अंदर स्टेटस रिपोर्ट दाखिल करने को कहा. सर्वोच्च अदालत ने इस बारे में केंद्र से विस्तृत रिपोर्ट जमा करने का निर्देश दिया है. अदालत जनवरी के पहले हफ्ते में आगे फिर सुनवाई करेगी.
