The South Korean military can immediately respond to and incapacitate North Korean artillery and missiles if they're ever used to attack the South.
That's Seoul defense ministry today in response to whether the country can defend against the array of weapons unveiled by the North in its military parade this past weekend.
Its spokesperson said missiles from North Korea can be intercepted through its Patriot missiles and the soon-to-be-deployed M-SAM-two surface-to-air missile system.
Among the North Korean weapons unveiled, the super-large multiple rocket launchers are believed to be able to target the whole of South Korea.
