S. Korea reports 70 new cases on Mon., staying below 100 for second straight day

South Korea reported 70 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, remaining below 100 for the second day in a row.
However, with a new possible cluster infection popping from the southern port city of Busan, health authorities are high on alert.

South Korea reported 70 new COVID-19 cases on Monday... bringing the total to 23-thousand-forty-five.
This is the second straight day the country has seen the number of daily infections stay below a hundred.
It follows 37 days of more than 100 cases nationwide after a series of cluster infections in the greater Seoul area in mid-August.
Of those, 55 were local transmissions while 15 came from overseas.
The number of patients in critical condition has decreased by five,... bringing the number to 141.
However, ahead of South Korea's thanksgiving holiday Chuseok, the health authorities say people still need to do everything they can to stop the spread of the virus.
"Just a week before Chuseok, lots of people moving across the country is a predictable risk factor. At this time, easing social distancing outside the capital region could bring confusion or lead to a higher possibility of another resurgence."
Ten more cases have been reported overnight related to the possible cluster infection at a university in Busan.
Newly confirmed patients are in the same club or major as the dormmates of the first patient who tested positive on Saturday.
With one case being detected from Gyeongsangnam-do Province, this has become a region to region transmission.
Health authorities say there could be cases across the country linked to this cluster infection as 700 people have been in close contact with the patients.
