Cats wear anti-COVID face shields

A Mexican designer has decided to make anti-COVID-19 masks for cats. Creator Nestor Ortega, 42, has been working in graphic design and advertising for 15 years and now he is also dedicated to making masks for cats. Ortega exclusively told Newsflash: “The idea came about because my sister-in-law asked me for a mask as an accessory for her cat. So I started designing different models in two sizes, for big cats and small cats." Ortega added: "The purpose is to have it as an accessory, and it serves to remind us that we are going through a very difficult situation and reminds us that we have to protect ourselves." Nestor's relationship with cats is nothing new. “I have three kittens at home and they are not only pets, they are part of my family. We take great care of them."
