Indonesian villagers clean their houses and fields after Mount Sinabung erupted, spewing volcanic ash up into the sky.

One man cleans his roof with a hose and his plants' leaves in Naman Teran village in Karo, North Sumatra, on Tuesday (August 11), a day after the eruption of Mount Sinabung, which can be seen in the background.

Mount Sinabung erupted on Monday (August 10) sending a column of ash approximately 5,000 meters above the peak into the sky.
