Sinabung volcano seen spewing fresh ash after recent eruption in Indonesia

The newly active volcano Mount Sinabung spewed thick ash and smoke into the sky in west Indonesia.

Timelapse footage filmed today (August 12) following its recent eruption on Monday (August 11) shows ash and smoke spewing from the crater.

Mount Sinabung, situated in Karo, North Sumatra, became active in 2010, erupting after nearly 400 years of inactivity.
