BCCI is likely to postpone the mega auction ahead of IPL 2021 as there's not much time left for franchises to strategize for the big event,While the 13th edition of the IPL all set to kick off from September 19 in the UAE, the biggest challenge ahead for the BCCI is to find a new title sponsor after the exit of Vivo.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 13वें सीजन के लिए ऑक्शन दिसंबर 2019 में हुआ था। ये एक मिनी ऑक्शन था, क्योंकि 2021 के सीजन के लिए दिसंबर 2020 में मेगा ऑक्शन होना था, जिसमें टीमें फिर से बनाई जातीं, लेकिन अब ये संभव नहीं है। दरअसल, कोरोना वायरस महामारी की वजह से ऐसा हुआ है, क्योंकि आइपीएल 2020 की शुरुआत 29 मार्च से होनी थी, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ और लीग को सितंबर-नवंबर तक के लिए टालना पड़ा। ऐसे में अगले साल होने वाले आइपीएल के लिए मेगा ऑक्शन होना लगभग असंभव हो गया है।
