U.S. President Donald Trump has stressed the importance of the ironclad alliance between South Korea and the United States,... in a proclamation marking the 67th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Day.
Released by the White House on Sunday,... President Trump said the ironclad alliance which was "forged in war and reinforced by a shared love of liberty and deep ties of friendship, is vital to peace and stability",... not just in Asia but to the world, as well.
He also noted that South Korea was "once decimated in the aftermath of the war",... but is now one of the world's most prosperous democracies,... and one of the U.S.'s strongest allies.
