India reported nearly 49,000 new cases on Saturday, taking the tally of Covid-19 cases past 13 lakh. India also registered 757 deaths due to the novel coronavirus, taking the death toll to 31,358. Out of 13,36,861 infections recorded so far, over 4.5 lakh are active cases while 8,49,432 patients have recovered.
