The district administration has declared a high alert regarding floods in Sitamarhi district. All the rivers of Bagmati and Adhwara groups are flowing above the danger mark. The situation is that due to increase in the water level of Bagmati and Lakhandei rivers, flood water has entered many areas of the district. The death of four children is also reported there.

सीतामढ़ी जिले में बाढ़ को लेकर जिला प्रशासन ने हाई अलर्ट घोषित कर दिया है. बागमती और अधवारा समूह की सभी नदियों खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही हैं. हालत ये है कि बागमती और लखनदेई नदियों के जलस्तर में बढ़ोतरी के कारण जिले के कई इलाकों में बाढ़ का पानी प्रवेश कर गया है. वंही चार बच्चों की मौत की भी खबर है.
