COVID-19 cases now 57,545; 634 new cases on Tuesday – DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) said on Tuesday, July 14, that 634 more people in the country have tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total number of cases to 57,545.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reported that the tally of recoveries rose to 20,459 after 88 more survivors were recorded. However, there were six new fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,603.

The DOH said that 95 duplicates were removed from the total case count, saying that the “total cases reported may be subject to change as these numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.”
