COVID-19 cases now total 30,682 –DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday, June 22 said that the total of confirmed coronavirus disease cases in the Philippines has gone up to 30,682.
The DOH latest case bulletin showed that there were 630 newly confirmed cases. Of this, 467 were classified as “fresh cases” or whose test results were released within three days, while 163 were “late cases” or test results released more than four days but were only validated recently.
The Health department also reported that the number of recoveries rose to 8,143, with 250 new survivors. The death toll also increased to 1,177 after eight more fatalities were added.
