The South Korean government is planning to provide telemedicine services for Korean construction workers in foreign countries.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters said Sunday that it wants to protect Korean nationals overseas from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Workers can report their symptoms on the online platform to receive diagnosis and even a prescription from local doctors.
South Korea's four major hospitals have joined hands to provide the service.
So far, three Korean construction workers sent abroad have died from COVID-19.
Around 90 have tested positive.
