트럼프 "볼턴, 리비아 모델 언급후 북미관계 망해"... 北 도발에 상황 관리 의도

U.S. President Donald Trump has put the blame on his former National Security Advisor John Bolton for the failing nuclear negotiations with North Korea.
He said things went wrong after Bolton mentioned using the "Libyan Model" on the North.
Oh Jung-hee reports.
U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed John Bolton was responsible for the failure of the nuclear talks with North Korea and he shouldn't have mentioned the "Libyan Model" of denuclearization.
Trump made the claim on Twitter on Thursday, after parts of former National Security Advisor John Bolton's memoir were revealed through the media.
Trump said... when John Bolton spoke about the "Libyan Model" for North Korea, "all hell broke out" and Kim Jong-un "went ballistic, rightfully so."
The tweet pins the blame on Bolton for the lack of progress in the denuclearization talks.
But it also comes at a time when North Korea has blown up its joint liaison office with South Korea and threatened additional actions.
Trump's Tweet might also be intended to show that he understands Kim Jong-un, in order to prevent additional provocations and manage the situation.
With inter-Korean relations turning icy following Pyeongyang's demolition of the joint liaison office, Washington is also keeping a keen eye on the Korean Peninsula, and coordinating with Seoul.
South Korea's top nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon met with his U.S. counterpart, Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun, on Thursday in Washington D.C.
Not much has been revealed about their meeting, but it's likely that they shared their views on North Korea and discussed ways to prevent the situation from further deteriorating.
