The South Korean military has resumed its war remains excavation project at the Demilitarized Zone despite the ongoing tensions with the North.
Seoul's defense ministry said today that excavation of the Korean War remains at Arrowhead Ridge has restarted as normal.
The ridge, located in the central border town of Cheorwon, was one of the fiercest battlefields during the Korean War.
More than a hundred pieces of bones and over 14,000 articles have been found so far.
The project was temporarily put on hold Wednesday after North Korea blew up the inter-Korean Liaison Office in the border town of Gaeseong the previous day.
