New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees took to his Instagram to issue an apology after his controversial comments about players kneeling during the anthem sparked widespread backlash.

The QB said in his statement that he "needs to do a lot less talking and a lot more listening."This comes after Brees said he'd never agree with NFL players kneeling, calling it disrespectful to the flag and USA military.
