Stolen Generations survivors reach settlement with Commonwealth
  • 11 months ago
A Northern Territory Indigenous leader and activist Eileen Cummings is among 12 abuse survivors who have reached an out of court settlement over physical and sexual abuse suffered at Croker Island Mission, north of Darwin in the 1940s and 50s. The claimants received a formal apology at a private ceremony. It follows a class action settlement against the Government this year.
