The International Cricket Council Board on Thursday deferred a decision on the fate of this year's T20 World Cup in Australia till June 10 as it continued exploring contingency plans amid a raging pandemic that has derailed calendars worldwide.The World Cup is scheduled from October 18 to November 15 but there is intense speculation about the event being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

क्रिकेट को दोबारा शुरु करने और भविष्य में होने वाले टूर्नामेंट को ध्यान में रखते हुए आईसीसी ने 28 मई को आईसीसी सदस्यों के साथ मीटिंग की जिसमें इस साल ऑस्ट्रेलिया की मेजबानी में होने वाले टी20 विश्व कप के आयोजन को लेकर फैसला होना था। हालांकि आईसीसी ने फिलहाल टी20 विश्व कप समेत इस मीटिंग में लिये जाने वाले सभी फैसलों को 10 जून तक के लिये टाल दिया है।
