Apart from the US, Australia and Germany, more than 30 countries have asked India to supply hydroxychloroquine. India is the world's largest producer of hydroxychloroquine. This is an anti-malarial medicine, which has been described by the US President Trump Corona virus as a game changer many times. In view of its huge demand, India had announced partial lifting of the ban on the export of this medicine.

पिछले कुछ दिनों से भारत में बनने वाली मलेरिया की दवा हाइड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन की खूब चर्चा हो रही है. अमेरिका, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और जर्मनी के अलावा, 30 से ज्यादा देशों ने भारत से हाइड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन की आपूर्ति के लिए कहा है. भारत दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा हाइड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन उत्पादक देश है. यह एंटी मलेरिया दवाई है जिसे अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप कोरोना वायरस की लड़ाई में कई बार गेमचेंजर बता चुके हैं. इसकी भारी मांग को देखते हुए भारत ने इस दवाई के निर्यात पर आंशिक रूप से पाबंदी हटाने की घोषणा कर दी थी.
