Importance of Ganga is of special importance in Hinduism. Ganga has the status of mother. On the day of Jyeshtha Shukla Dashami, Ganga ji descended on earth, on that day Ganga is known as Dussehra. Ganga Saptami is on 30th April. Taking a bath in the Ganges River on the day of Ganga Saptami eradicates all kinds of sins and attains salvation. Due to Corona crisis, the entire country is in lockdown, while bathing at home, a few drops of Ganga water should be bathed in a bucket of water.

गंगा का महत्व हिंदू धर्म में विशेष महत्व है। गंगा को मां का दर्जा प्राप्त है। गंगा पापनाशिनी और मोक्षप्रदायिनी भी है। 30 अप्रैल को गंगा सप्तमी है। गंगा सप्तमी के दिन गंगा नदी में स्नान करने से सभी तरह के पाप मिट जाता है और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। कोरोना संकट के चलते पूरा देश लॉकडाउन में है ऐसे में घर पर स्नान करते समय पानी की बाल्टी में गंगा जल की कुछ बूंदों का डालकर स्नान करना चाहिए।
