UK schoolboy builds giant DIY marble run in back garden during COVID-19 lockdown

A Derbyshire schoolboy has built an extreme marble run using only outdoor kit and toys, while under lockdown because of coronavirus.

In this cool video filmed by dad, Matt on April 18, a kayak, zip wire, axe, and Hot Wheels are used to feed him breakfast in a hammock.

Matt told Newsflare, "We worked on it on and off for three days. My son watches a lot of YouTube videos and was taken with the idea of a marble run when he saw me using my router in the shed.

"We then walked past a pile of thrown out wood and grabbed some pieces which we could rout for a marble run. It then grew from that to fill the space we had.

"We have more ideas. Currently on the throws of building a climbing wall in their bedroom."

Thwarted by the wind and the randomness of the objects used, it took over 100 attempts to get right!
