The Japanese newspaper Sankei Shimbun has praised South Korea's response to COVID-19 as an exemplary case.
In an article on Sunday it reported that South Korea was able to curb the spread of the disease through aggressive testing and by thoroughly tracing the route of infection and the recent comings and goings of the infected people.
The Sankei Shimbun also noted that South Korea's coronavirus testing kit can confirm a case in just 4 to 6 hours, and that it's being bought by countries that are now seeing their own infections surge.
It also noted that other countries are taking on South Korea's innovative techniques of drive-thru and walk-thru testing.
