Lohri festival is celebrated in every part of the country as well as Punjab and Haryana. The fire is lit in the evening on the occasion of Lohri festival. Men and women walk around and sing folk songs and dance. Special poojas are performed on the occasion of Lohri. It is believed that special worship fulfills all desires.

लोहड़ी त्योहार पंजाब-हरियाणा के साथ ही देश के हर हिस्से में मनाया जाता है। लोहड़ी त्योहार के अवसर पर शाम के समय आग जलाई जाती है। इसके चारों तरफ पुरुष और महिलाएं घूमते हुए लोकगीत गाते हैं और डांस करते हैं। लोहड़ी के अवसर पर विशेष पूजा की जाती है। मान्यता है कि विशेष पूजा से सारी मनोकामना पूरी होती है।
