No plans to extend Section 144 in Bengaluru as of now: Police Commissioner

Bengaluru, Dec 21 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Police Commissioner of Bengaluru City, Bhaskar Rao said that there is no plan of extending Section 144 in Bengaluru as of now.
On the imposition of Section 144, Rao said, “As of now, we have no plans to extend it but we will study the situation in the evening. These are things where we need to take immediate decisions.”
Speaking about the upcoming protests in the city, he said, “We have advised people and I am recommending that there should be no more protest over here. But if our request is unheeded, we may have to take action.”
“8 cases registered at SJ Park police station and Ulsoor Gate police station,” he said further over protests in the city.
