Lucknow, Dec 19 (ANI): Section 144 has been imposed across the state of Uttar Pradesh. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Lucknow, Kalanidhi Naithani, said, “District administration didn’t give any permission for any rally or protest on today’s date. Thus, we appeal to the people not to be a part of any protest or rally. The police force is all prepared and alarmed to deal with every situation. Notices have been sent to those leaders who are making provocative statements.”

He further added, “All the schools and college administrations are under our confidence. They also ensured us that they will not support or approve any such protest.” Uttar Pradesh Police also appealed to people to not forward any provocative messages on social media.
