Uddhav government of Maharashtra canceled the decision to waive the stamp duty on land purchase to an RSS-linked trust. On Wednesday, the cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray canceled the decision to waive stamp duty. It is being told that the government has taken this decision in view of the current financial pressure on the state exchequer.

महाराष्ट्र की उद्धव सरकार ने RSS से जुड़े एक ट्रस्ट को ज़मीन खरीद पर दी जाने वाली स्टाम्प ड्यूटी माफ करने के फैसले को रद्द कर दिया। बुधवार को मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे के नेतृत्व में हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में स्टाम्प ड्यूटी माफ करने के फैसले को रद्द किया गया। बताया जा रहा है कि सरकारी खजाने पर मौजूदा वित्तीय दबाव को देखते हुए सरकार ने ये फैसला लिया है।
