Some Huawei suppliers get U.S. approval to restart sales to blacklisted Chinese firm

After almost half a year, some Huawei suppliers are starting to get U.S. approval to restart sales to the blacklisted firm.
The U.S. Commerce Department announced on Wednesday that it has started issuing licenses for some companies to supply goods to the Chinese tech giant.
Companies began receiving notices of approval and "intent to deny."
It wasn't immediately known which products have been approved, but the partial sanction lift relieves concerns of American companies who made billions of dollars in sales to Huawei last year.
The latest move comes as the U.S. and China seek to close a partial trade deal.
