Fmr. U.S. ambassador to UN Nikki Haley claims Trump posed as 'madman' to put sanctions on N. Korea

Former U.S. ambassador to the UN has written in her memoir about President Donald Trump's so-called 'madman' tactics and how bad human rights are in North Korea.
Choi Jeong-yoon reports.
In 2017, when tensions between the United States and North Korea were at their peak,... President Trump used words like 'Fire and Fury', and 'Destruction' as threats against Pyeongyang.
"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen."
His actions are claimed to be the 'madman theories' former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger came up with,... to reach full sanctions on North Korea.
In former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley's recent memoir 'With All Due Respect', she claims that Trump wanted to have people believe he is a madman, and that all the options were on the table.
She said this was to bring unanimous agreement in the United Nations including getting China and Russia on board.
In November 2017, after North Korea had launched an ICBM, the UN Security Council all agreed on intensive sanctions on North Korea.
Haley mentioned the time when Trump asked her opinion on calling North Korean leader Kim Jong-un 'rocket man'.
"Rocket man is on his suicide mission for himself and for his regime. the United States is ready, willing and able but hopefully this will not be necessary."
She also exposed the reality of human rights in North Korea.
She said Kim has solidified his power by executing over 3-hundred people including his family members in his first 6 years of authoritarian rule.
There have also been an uncountable number of deaths at the concentration camps where people are sent for criticizing the system or consuming forbidden books or press.
Haley explained that Trump's provocative statements had faced much criticism but were helpful in putting full pressure on North Korea.
